Mahindra & Mahindra is set to continue its assault on the Indian market with its SUVs this year, with the brand set to launch as many as four new models in the country. We have learnt that in addition to the new electric SUVs, it will also launch rebadged versions of some of its popular vehicles in the country. In this article, we will talk about the upcoming Mahindra cars this year in India.

1. Mahindra XEV 7e

This will be Mahindra’s first full-size electric SUV for the Indian market, as it will rival the Tata Safari EV. The XEV 7e is expected to be launched in the second half of this year with an expected price range of Rs 20-25 lakh (ex-showroom). The e-SUV was recently unveiled at a Mahindra launch and the leaked image suggests that it will take styling inspiration from the XUV 7OO.On the other hand, the interior will be inspired by the XEV 9e with a black and white two-tone finish. and an identical setup with three 12.3-inch screens. It will borrow Level 2 ADAS technology and other safety features from the XEV 9e. The Mahindra XEV 7e is expected to feature the 59 kWh/79 kWh batteries of the EU 6 and XEV 9e with a range of over 500 km on a single full charge.

2. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV

It will be the brand’s entry-level electric vehicle in India, while it will be positioned below the XUV 4OO to compete directly with the Tata Punch EV. The electric SUV has been spotted in the flesh several times during testing, and spy shots show that it will come with a handful of EV-specific visual upgrades over the standard XUV 3XO.Some of the notable features on board may include a sunroof, a 360-degree camera, cruise control, and ADAS technology. The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV could be introduced with 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh battery options, which we have already seen in the XUV 4OO. The all-electric SUV can have a range of over 350 km with the smaller battery and over 400 km with the larger battery.
