The 2025 Tata Tiago sedan has been teased for the first time. It is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming 2025 auto show, with prices to be announced soon after.
What we know so far
The teaser image shows the same silhouette as the current model, with the same design for the wheels and shark fin antenna. The number is expected to have some minor changes and Tata has confirmed that there will be new color options.
Updated features
The big changes are expected to be in the interior, with added luxury and comfort features. This list is expected to include a new touchscreen system, updates to connected car technology, optional sunroof variants, and new interior color combinations.The electric vehicle will benefit from exactly the same changes, but with different color options to match the electric nature of the vehicle.
Powertrain options
No mechanical changes are expected and the 1.2-litre engine will continue to be available in petrol or CNG versions. The electric vehicle’s battery and motor are also expected to remain unchanged from the current model.
Competition check
The Tiago is Tata’s smallest vehicle and competes with a range of vehicles such as the Renault Kwid, Maruti S-Presso, Maruti Celerio and Maruti Alto. The electric vehicle is being measured against the MG Comet.
