The list includes not only comfort features, such as two 10.25-inch screens and automatic climate control, but also safety technologies such as Level 2 ADAS.
Hyundai has revealed the exterior and interior of the upcoming Creta Electric, the price of which is expected to be announced on January 17 at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It shares most of its styling and cabin layout with the petrol-powered Creta. with internal combustion, and also similar features. In this report, we highlight ten convenience and safety features that the Creta EV carries over from the standard model.
Dual 10.25-inch Screen Setup
The cabin of the Hyundai Creta Electric features two 10.25-inch screens, one for the infotainment system and the other for the digital driver unit. This is the same configuration as the standard Creta, which is available with petrol and diesel engines. In particular, the infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via cable, while the digital driver’s display offers different themes depending on the driving mode and provides additional vehicle information on the Creta with a combustion engine.In addition, the infotainment can be used to make payments for charging Creta EV, adding the convenience factor.
Panoramic Sunroof
Hyundai has equipped the Creta Electric and its combustion engine model with a panoramic roof. This not only increases the aesthetic appeal of the vehicle, but also improves the cabin environment by letting in more light. Hyundai has not yet revealed which variants of the Creta Electric will have a panoramic roof, while the standard model will start from the mid-range S(O) model.
8-speaker Bose Sound System
Both the Creta and its electric counterpart feature an 8-speaker Bose audio system. Compared to the standard audio system in the entry-level variants of the Creta, the Bose system includes a front-facing center speaker and a subwoofer for improved sound quality. The system also supports JioSaavan music streaming service for added convenience.
Ventilated Front-row Seats
For added comfort for front-row passengers, the Creta Electric also borrows seat ventilation from the standard model. If you live in an area of the country where summer temperatures become unbearable, this feature will come in handy. Additionally, the driver’s seat on both SUVs features an 8-way power adjustment feature.
Dual-zone Auto AC
The Creta Electric also benefits from the dual-zone automatic climate control system of the combustion engine Creta. This system provides additional comfort by allowing the driver and passenger to individually adjust the air conditioning temperature. It also regulates the interior temperature according to the external environment.
