Here Are 5 Features Seen For The First Time On A Mahindra Car

The list currently includes many luxury cars, with the XEV 9e and BE 6e showing

Mahindra recently launched the all-new XEV 9e and BE 6e with sportier and more aggressive styling and minimalist interiors. But beyond the looks, the two electric cars have generated a lot of interest due to the advanced features they share. These features not only provide extra comfort, but are also available for the first time on any Mahindra vehicle. In this report, we reveal ten technological upgrades offered with the XEV 9e and BE 6e.

Triple Screen Layout:

The Mahindra XEV 9e’s cabin features a three-screen setup that includes the driver’s display, infotainment unit, and a third display for front passenger entertainment. You can experience the functionality of the first two displays, but the third display allows the front passenger to stream videos and other OTT content, play games, and even participate in online calls. Mahindra has also integrated climate control and packaging features into this model. Both the Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e come with a panoramic roof illuminated by light strips. Mahindra says the lights can create 16 million hues and change color depending on your driving speed. The panoramic glass roof has different models depending on the EV you choose from the two vehicles mentioned above and is also combined with the lighting of the house.

2-spoke Steering Wheel With Illuminated Logo:

The Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e also feature dual steering wheels with illuminated Mahindra logos. While you may have seen this design on recent Tata products, this is the first time Mahindra has adopted it. The new steering wheel also houses switches for functions like volume control and menus, and also features paddle shifters to adjust the battery. It also has buttons for one-pedal driving and boost mode, which we will cover in more detail in this report.

Augmented reality (AR) based heads-up display:

Both the new Mahindra electric cars feature a head-up display with integrated augmented reality technology. It processes information such as vehicle speed and turn-by-turn navigation for the driver and adjusts its brightness and position accordingly. This creates a 3D effect, allowing the data to be seen from the previous road.

16-Speaker Sound System:

Both the XEV 9e and BE 6e come with a 1400W, 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. This sound system also supports Dolby Atmos, enriching your home with an immersive surround sound experience. It also helps the EVs stand out from rivals like the Tata Curvv EV and MG ZS EV.

Auto Park Assist:

Mahindra has implemented a full 360-degree camera in both electric cars, including automatic parking assistance features typical of luxury cars. The system helps with parking in tight spaces and parallel parking, allowing the vehicle to take control during manoeuvres. You can also get out and park, or even drive to your desired location, in addition to the pre-arrangement if needed.
