Honda to launch next-gen Amaze in India on December 4, prices expected to start at Rs 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom)
A Brand New Exterior
The 2024 Honda Amaze teaser video hints at an all-new look with styling cues from the new Honda City and the international-spec Honda Accord. Honda could ditch the thick chrome bar connecting the dual-pod LED headlamp cluster and adopt a rectangular shape and design just like the Honda Accord. It could also be purchased with multi-spoke rims, LED headlamps, and a premium feel like the City.
Interior Inspired From Other Honda Cars
According to the design, the interior of the 2024 Honda Amaze is also expected to be inspired by the City and even the Elevate SUV. It showcased a black and beige car with a three-spoke steering wheel. The dashboard includes a standalone face with a graphic insert on the dashboard.
A Better Feature And Safety Suite
The render also shows a semi-digital driver’s display with a helpline, suggesting the inclusion of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). They also hint at a large display, and we expect the Amaze to come with a wireless mobile phone charger, automatic air conditioning, electrically adjustable and foldable exterior mirrors (ORVMs), and a solar panel. It could also be equipped with airbags (standard) and a rear-view camera.
Likely To Have The Same Powertrain
Honda is expected to use a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine in the current Amaze. The specifications are as follows:
- Engine:1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine
- Power :90 hp produced
- Torque :110 newton metres
- spread: 5-speed MT, CVT
