Tata Avinya X unveiled at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

  • It is expected to arrive in the electric version.
  • It could be launched in 2026.

The idea:

At the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, Tata unveiled the next evolution of its ultra-luxury concept and called it the Avinya X. It is ready for mass production and is expected to be launched in 2026. The Avinya is Tata’s ultra-luxury assault and will enter a much higher price segment than the one in which Tata currently operates.

Design highlights:

The main change for the Tata Avinya is that it has gone from its coupe-like look to a more crossover-like one, which is what we have come to expect from Tata given the Avinya’s evolution. Highlights of the silhouette include a high stance, large wheels, retractable door handles and wraparound headlights and taillights. The rear is surprisingly minimalist, with a single rear light and glossy black bumpers. The interior was closed off, but a peek through the window revealed a three-screen display on the dashboard and a massive fourth screen, which is freestanding but mounted below. Other highlights include a two-spoke steering wheel and a large center console. Key features include V2L and V2V trim, a panoramic roof, wireless phone charging, Level 2 ADAS, and multi-zone climate control. Theis expected to use JLR’s EMA platform and offer a range of at least 500 km. Of course, it will offer both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Although it is expected to be an all-electric model, given the market approach in India, it could also include at least an ICE version.
