The Tata Nexon CNG Dark Red displayed at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 has been launched with prices starting at ₹ 12.70 lakh and going up to ₹ 13.69 lakh. It is available in Fearless+ PS, Creative+ PS and Creative+S variants.
Highlights of the Red Dark Edition
Highlights of the Red Dark Edition include a charcoal black exterior with red accents, red leather upholstery, red stitching, and piano-tone interior trim. The top-of-the-line Fearless + PS variant gets features like a 10.20-inch dual digital display, climate control with rear air vents, ventilated front seats, an LED lighting package, and a panoramic sunroof with voice control for multilingual operation (hence the word PS in the name).
Powertrain and real-world mileage
The Nexon CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 98.5 PS and 170 Nm. This engine is available only with a six-speed manual transmission. It uses Tata’s twin-cylinder technology with a total capacity of 60 litres for the CNG tank and a boot volume of 321 litres. Tata claims a fuel economy of 17.44 km/kg and in our real-world testing we achieved 11.65 km/kg in the city and 17.5 km/kg on the highway, giving us a combined average of 13 km/kg.
